Welcome to GamyChat. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application and services. We are committed to compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following "Digital Personal Data" to provide our services:

A. User Profile Data

• Identity: Username, Email Address, Date of Birth.
• Account: User ID (UID), Avatar URL.
• Status: Online/Offline status, "About Me" text.

B. Location Data (Optional)

• Precise Location: We request access to your precise location only if you enable the "Nearby Users" feature in the Discover tab.
• Purpose: To show you other players within a specific radius.
• Storage: Your location is updated in our database when you use the feature. You can revoke this permission at any time in your device settings.

C. Game & Device Data

• Gameplay: Match history, scores, win rates, and game logs.
• Device: Device model, OS version, IP address (for security and anti-cheat).

3. How We Use Your Data

• Core Service: To create your account, match you with opponents, and manage your inventory (Coins/Gems).
• Ads: We use Unity Ads to display video advertisements. Unity Ads may collect data to personalize ads.
• Safety: To detect cheating, toxicity, or violations of our Community Guidelines.

3A. Unity Ads — Third-Party Advertising (Google Play Families Policy)

We partner with Unity Technologies to provide in-app advertising through Unity Ads. Unity may collect certain information, including IP address, Device ID, and game activity, in accordance with their privacy policy available at unity.com/legal/privacy-policy. To comply with Google Play's Families Policy, ads served to users under 18 are filtered to be age-appropriate and contain no behavioural targeting based on sensitive personal data. We do not share precise location or contact list data with Unity Ads. Users under 13 are not eligible to use GamyChat.

4. Virtual Assets (Coins & Gems)

• Coins and Gems are virtual items with no real-world monetary value.
• They are licensed to you, not sold.
• We do not offer cash withdrawals or exchanges for real currency.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Service Providers: Firebase (Google) for hosting and authentication.
• Ad Networks: Unity Ads (privacy-safe identifiers for ad delivery).
• Legal Requirements: If required by law enforcement or court order.

6. Your Rights

• Access & Correction: You can view and edit your profile in the app Settings.
• Deletion (In-App): You can request account deletion directly within the app. Go to Settings > Delete Account, type "DELETE" to confirm.
• Deletion (Web Form): You may also submit an account deletion request via our website at gamychat.in/delete-account. Requests are processed within 30 days in line with our retention policy.
• Data Export: You may request a copy of all personal data we hold about you by emailing gamiefun0@gmail.com.
• Reporting Content: Use the in-app Report button in any chat conversation to flag inappropriate users or messages. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.

7. Children's Privacy

GamyChat is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
